Went there twice last year, once during my birthday and another for a family gathering.
Restaurent looks very posh and high class. Nice and quiet setting for dinner.
The must-have dish on the menu is definitely the chilli crab, huge crabs with roe cooked in creamy egg chilli sauce, sauce is cooked to perfect texture and taste, not too starchy, not too dilute, sweet and spicy. Mantou is a bit too small though.
Other dishes are quite nice too. We ordered the kopi ribs, I find the taste a bit weird so don't really like it.
Would definitely visit again to eat the crab.

went to this restaurant with my family located at Kallang.
the service and attitude was SUCKS!!!!! i would not visit this restauarant anymore.!!
we ordered 3Large crab to be cooked in chilli and Pepper, we found that one of the crab is "HOLLOW" we ask for an exchange. The service staff went to seek to assistant and the manager came over to our table ..she was like so reluntant to change for us but we dont care ....customer is always right...
another experience was told my collegue visiting their fullerton outlet. he ordered the crab with only one Crab Claw.. he asked the manager for the MISSING claw he was like the BO CHAP attitude towards him.. he was so mad about it .. and asked the whoever in charge or the boss to speak to him.. the ladyboss also possese the TAKE IT or LEAVE IT attitude ,even quarral with him... he was sooooOOO angry !!
he even spend nearly $500 for the meal..

Had craving for chilli crabs so we decided to try this as everytime we walked pass this place at vivo city, every table seem to have an order of the chilli crab.
Had to wait about 20-30 minutes for the food even though they were not running a full house. But it was worth the wait
The Stir Fried Dou Miao, small portion was so petite, I guess if you like your vegies, do ask for a bigger size. However Vegies was fresh crunchy and tasty. Not too salty and oily too.
The chilli crabs, first taste of the gravy and we were not dissapointed at all. Sweetness was just right with the right tinge of spicyness, unlike some other places which were either too sweet or not sweet and not spicy enough. Gravy was ample, more than enough if there are only 2 of you eating. We had 2 mantous each with the crabs. Mantou was of very small size, freshly fried. The one crab had lots of roe, and of ample size. The meat was fresh and firm. Every taste of the gravy you just want more of it, need i say more?
Will definitely return for the chilli crab.

The service there was pretty good, with the waiters changing your plates once they get too dirty. Also polite in recommending dishes but not forceful though..
We ordered the crab in 3 different cooking ways.. The chilli crab was fantastic (at least it didnt have the distinct tomato ketchup taste) with the fried mantou. Lots of gravy given. The white pepper crab was nice but I prefer black pepper crabs which they didnt have. The butter crab was too dry though, didnt really fancy it.
The butter prawns were nice and tasty. Love them. You can opt for the desserts after your meal. I saw other ordering them and thought the desserts look nice. But we were too full to order desserts. haha.
Better to book a table beforehand though. It was full that day when i went.
