Pho licious
Spent: $17 per pax
well first of all, the beef soup and the chilli goes together very well, it's like a perfect combination. other people say they're normal pho is better but for me the spicy one is the best.
i strongly recommend this place and maybe u could try their imperial roll and their spicy beef noodle soup.
Best Pho in Singapore
Spent: $18 per pax
Of all the vietnamese restaurants i've tried here in singapore, this place i think so far have the best pho. After eating the pho you don't have the MSG taste that's stick to your mouth after eating, well maybe because they have the healthier choice award which proves it has very little amount of salt and msg or it doesn't have anything at all.
I will recommend this place to people who loves healthy food, but they also have some sinful food that you cant resist like the imperial rolls which is one of their signature dish.
Ambiance
It's a mixed of tradional and modern look. the lanterns hanging are lovely and all the staff wore a orange silk uniform.
Service
Service was good, STAFF are very friendly and they always have a nice smile on their face.
Overall it was a good experience, might bring some friends there again this week.
Sour Oranges
Spent: $20 per pax
The place is nice and cosy, but played an awkward mix of ambient and pop music that was thankfully not too loud. The place was lit with warm light - whatever you can come up with when you think Orange Lantern, you're probably close - but it seemed to be suffering from a case of identity crisis. I didn't know if it wanted to be a restaurant, a cafe or a diner, but if you're here for a casual dinner, then you wouldn't mind either
Food
Given the reviews before mine and the number of awards the restaurant has obtained, I came in with very high expectations, some of which were met while others were not.
I had the grilled chicken chop with rice vermicelli, which came with 2 fried spring rolls. My server had kindly informed me that had I chosen the alternative side, which was the prawn paste, I would've been stuck with a lone prawn paste fritter, so I chose the rolls instead.
The vermicelli came with a separate sauce that was at once sour, spicy and fragrant. When added to the vermicelli, which had fried shallots and peanuts on them, the sauce resulted in a noodle dish that was delightfully awakening and had a perfect layering of flavours. Caveat: don't add too much sauce or you'll end up trying to scoop the noodles.
The grilled chicken that came with it, and was supposedly the whole point of the dish, was cold, hard and dry, though it did taste a lot like chicken satay in peanut sauce. Had they actually cooked the chicken instead of, what I assume, taking it out from the fridge and heating it up a little, the dish might have actually been palatable.
The dish also came with a side of fresh greens including lettuce, cucumbers, a betel leaf and raw bean sprouts. While I can understand the cultural context of the dish through which the greens were supposed to add, I cannot understand the raw bean sprouts, which made eating my vermicelli quite a chore, and left a strong raw taste in my mouth when I did chew into them.
The rolls were hot and crispy, but had a weird combination of flavours that I couldn't really identify as vietnamese, but wasn't really anything else either.
I also had an avocado shake, which was avocado blended with milk and stirred into ice shards. Smooth, thick and not excessively sweet, just the way I like it. But the ice took a while to melt, and by the time I got down to the bottom of the glass, I was trying to finish my drink without making an excessively loud slurping noise.
Service
Service here is frankly quite bad. I, and several customers after myself, as I had observed, had to stand outside the restaurant, wondering if we were supposed to wait for someone to bring us in, or to get our own table (hence the identity crisis). I don't think they were understaffed, but the servers were busy chatting in the kitchen that I had to wait for a good 5 min before I could get anyone's attention.
Placing my order had the same problem of staff not being there or simply not paying attention, and I was not the only one who faced this problem - I noticed as a lady had to get up and ask a server to take her order herself. Otherwise, the service staff was friendly, and mildly efficient in their service, though I did have to wait excessively long for my glass of water.
Overall
Given the price of the menu, and the reviews before mine, I had expected something more, and am frankly not very excited about returning to this place. But do come here and try the food for yourself if nothing else.

by far the best Vietnamese food I've had in Singapore. The Pho was flavourful and the signature dishes really live up to the expectation. I'll definitely recommend this place.

Another healthy restaurant for the health conscious people..
Try their Pho Bo... Beef is tender, cut thinly, squeeze the lime juice into the soup and it's just satisfying...
I always have the Pho Bo and Vietnamese Coffee here..
They serve alot of soupy food...
