I used to drive past thomson road and yearned to dine here someday as the signage caught my attention each time.

Finally, I had dinner at this Ivin with my friend last night.

Simple decor, not much impression of a peranankan place as compared to those in Joo Chiat. Do hope they can doll up the place but please dun shift the cost to diners....hehe

Ordered a curry fish head, some sweet gravy chicken, infamous ngoh hiang, chap chye and meat ball clear soup. Resemble much of a home cooked food which I used to love most.

Like the attitude of the staff by advising the 'right' portion for the diners rather than over ordered.

The half fish head was FULL of meat.......my favourite.

The dessert is kinda pathetic. I had the melaka sago but it was bit on the stingy side...oops

Would recommend this place for a family or friend outing if u desire to have some quality food and importantly affordable.
