The salads and main courses are those that I have tried and are really good. Very flavourful and very appetising. I did not personally try the desserts myself, but the responses were all good.
The staff are all friendly and always recommend the best or new food on the menu for us to try.
All in all...it is worth a try!
They are known for their soups...most of which are nice (I have tried them)...great to keep you warm especially on a cold day. I mean SOUP restaurant...stating the obvious.
They are really famous for their chicken (oh so nice), their tofu, the vegetables...etc etc...most of the dishes I've tried, which is almost the whole menu so far, they are all mouth-watering.
I would go there again and again and not get sick of their food.
I would not bring someone who wants to try real dim sums to this place though. It is edible and tastes alright for some of the dim sum orders, but for those I tried on that particular day, it could have been better.
The glutinious rice in lotus leaf is too starchy, the xiao long bao is very tough, the egg tart is too creamy and doesn't taste like egg tart, the prawn dumpling with sharks fin is alright and the fried prawn and mango roll is too oily, but alright tasting.
Overall, service is ok. Food comes out quite fast. Oh, but one thing is...we wanted to leave the place, forgetting that we had one more order, and they brought it out to us while we were getting ready to leave. They are honest in that way.
You can chooce to sit at the tables and chairs or the comfy semi-circular sofas with table in the middle. Excellent service and the attention they give to customers is great.
The food...we tried the seafood soup which is absolutely delicious that we had to order another one. There were so much ingredients inside the soup!
We also tried the spagetti de frutti mare (i think that's the name) with aglio olio sauce, the beef tenderlion and the vegetarian pizza. The pizza I must say is not that great, but the beef and the pasta is awesome though. Worth every cent.
We tried the creame brulee...however it was not properly cooked and it was watery inside. We told the waitress and she exchanged with a newly cooked one which was much better. She changed it without having a nasty look on the face, which was good.
The price range is about $28-$34, the average price. Though pricey but worth every cent. They are not stingy on their portions and you will be full, even after one bowl of soup. highly recommened!
The quality of the food is very good and of high standard and will never go wrong with any dish. I love their sharks fin soup as it is not those starchy type of soups in those cheap chinese restaurants. It is a clear soup with heaps of ingredients in it.
The desserts are fantastic! The aloe vera with ice cream and the tang yuan are some of the desserts they have.
The food is of high standard...the wasabi prawns are a must in the order, so are the cod fish as well. Not forgetting the tofu which has spinach and minced meat on it. I'm not sure of the names already, but they are delicious and we always order that and never get tired eating them.
Worth giving this restaurant a try!
There is so many to choose from and the price is so reasonable. The portions are small for some, but it gives you the choice of ordering and trying other dishes as well. I would recommend the honey pork, ayam buah kelauk, otak otak, chilli pomfret, chye poh omelette, sambal kang kong...oh and the duck soup (forgot the name) and the meat ball soup (forgot the name as well).
These is the set meal, nasi lemak style, which is value for money and it comes with a free dessert as well. There also local delights like mee siam (which i love), laksa, mee goreng etc etc.
The desserts are absolutely great! ALL are worth a try!
I especially love the mushroom teapot soup (can't remember the japanese name for it) because it is unique and really yummy. Some of the sushis are unique to that restaurant as well, which is a change from the normal sushis you get in normal japanese restaurants.
This place is a nice place to dine in, except if you have a huge group of people, you would have to sit outside and there is no way the waiters can see you or take notice, unless they look out of the window constantly or they come outside. This is only the down side. The service other than that is good.
A must try...wasabi prawns!

The service is good, food comes pretty fast.
...but the food is only mediocre, as compared to other good chinese restaurants. Presentation of food is good, nice ambience. Price is pricey however.

Though it might be far and inconvenient to get there, the food here is delicious. It is definitely worth the travel. There is another branch at Novena, but this branch opens later into the night.
I love the mango desserts, personally. I also tried the fried tofu. That was wonderful!
They have a wide range of food and desserts and also drinks to choose from. You will be spoilt for choice!
This restaurant is known for its deep fried pork cutlets, so it is the very dish you have to try! The portions they give is humongous and it is worth eating it.
However, while i was there, the service was a little slow and also some of the waitress forget / ignore you. Or they see you and then later they just leave it hanging for some reason.
Though relatively mediocre service, but the food is absolutely fantastic!!
You can choose ala carte, which has teppanyaki, grilled items, sushi, sashimi...etc. There are also seasonal set lunches to choose from. Like, I just recently tried the Spring set lunch!
On sundays, there is a lunch buffet which is $58+++ per person, but there is a range of yummy and non-cheap type choice food to choose from. And you also get lobster and raw fish to eat! A range of cold dishes, hot dishes, tempura, teppanyaki, grilled food...etc etc. There is also ice cream and fruits as desserts.
Though the price is rather pricey, but it is definitely worth every cent!
